Scala Developer
Job Description
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Scala. Build and optimize data processing pipelines using Apache Spark and Scala. Develop ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and process large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Collaborate with business, analytics, and engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code following software engineering best practices. Optimize application and data pipeline performance through tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Integrate solutions with databases, data lakes, and cloud platforms. Ensure data quality, reliability, scalability, and security across data solutions. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Support production deployments and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
