Provide on-call support for production environments for incident management.
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
- Perform RCA and participate in the post mortem process to ensure service reliability.
- Implement CI/CD related pipelines and automations.
- Participate in the change management process to ensure operational consistency and improvements.
- Setting up and configuration of infrastructure components and software services.
- Work with other teams responsible for infrastructure, network, applications and infosec.
- Escalate dependent issues with relevant teams and follow up for timely resolution.
- Understand the architecture of our services and products.
- Document runbooks, configurations, and best practices.
- Be on rotational on-call roaster
-Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years working on-call on production environments.
- Strong understanding of linux OS and TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Sysadmin/Linux command / scripting skills
- Excellent accountability to take things to logical conclusion
- Experience working on asterisk pbx software
- Experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, Git
- Team-player, proactive, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
