What you’ll do
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot AWS infrastructure and monitoring solutions.
- Automate infrastructure setup and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, and Helm.
- Deploy Prometheus exporters and configure service discovery (Kubernetes, Consul).
- Set up and maintain Grafana dashboards and Prometheus metrics collection.
- Manage alert routing using Alertmanager and optimise Prometheus performance.
- Handle incident, service request, and problem tickets, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Collaborate across teams to resolve issues and document best practices.
- Deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines and integrate test automation.
Who you are
- Proficient in AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Experienced in Grafana, Prometheus (including PromQL), AWS CloudWatch, SNS, SQS.
- Skilled in scripting (Bash, Python, Go) and log aggregation tools (Loki, ELK, Splunk).
- Familiar with Kubernetes monitoring tools (Kube-State-Metrics, cAdvisor).
- Knowledge of Alertmanager and service discovery mechanisms.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with Thanos, OpenTelemetry, and security best practices.
- Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer engineering.
