Partner with product and engineering teams to analyze cloud consumption patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities across AWS and other cloud platforms.
Implement and maintain FinOps best practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost allocation models.
Develop and automate dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into cloud spend, usage trends, and optimization opportunities.
Lead initiatives to right-size resources, eliminate unused assets, and improve purchasing strategies (e.g., Reserved Instances, Savings Plans).
Collaborate with DevOps and CloudOps teams to embed cost-awareness into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.
Provide guidance and training to development teams on cloud cost management tools and techniques.
Work with finance and procurement teams to align cloud spend with business objectives and ensure accurate chargebacks/showbacks.
Continuously evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to enhance cloud cost governance and operational efficiency
Work closely with Business and Financial stakeholders to share updates, reports, feedback, and operational processes.
All you need is...
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6–8 years of total experience, with at least 2+ years in FinOps and Cloud Financial Management.
