What you'll do:

The current requirement is for a Artificial Intelligence expert & Senior Developer for the Analytics & AI team within the Business Data Cloud & Insight (BDC&I) organization. We are looking for a highly skilled senior AI developer proficient in data science AI/ML/Generative AI & knowledge of full stack application development.

· Collaborate / Drive requirement gathering discussions with customer’s business owners and propose relevant AI/ML/Generative AI use cases to solve business problems

· Lead the architecture, design, and development AI solution with strong focus on performance, scalability, and customer impact.

· Lead/contribute to developing end-to-end AI/ML/Generative AI solutions.

· Drive AI/ML/Generative AI initiatives leveraging SAP AI eco system (like SAP AI Core, AI Launchpad and BTP).

· Lead/work closely with other data scientists/experts and teams to deliver solutions for customers’ AI adoption journey.

· Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and contribute to the team's skill and capability building.

· Collaborate with mobile developers to ensure seamless cross-platform experiences (Web + Mobile).

· Stay ahead of trends in GenAI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, Agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) and continuously improve codebase and development processes.

What you bring:

· BE/B.Tech/M.Tech (full-time) in Computer Science, Data science, Engineering, or related technical field from premier universities with good academic background.

· 8+ years of hands-on experience developing scalable, cloud-based AI/ML solutions and web applications with strong data analysis & processing background.

· Strong understanding of GenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI frameworks, vector databases (like SAP HANA Cloud vectors) and their application in Enterprise software.

· Proficiency in Python, with experience in frameworks likes TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain and other AI/ML/GenAI tools

· Deep experience in software design patterns, performance optimization, data visualization and debugging.

· Prior experience collaborating with engineering, and product teams.

· Solid knowledge of TDD, test automation, hands-on experience in developing Cloud Native Application

· Working knowledge of Git, GitHub etc.

· Exposure to mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus.

· A passion for mentoring, sharing knowledge, and leading by example.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with global, distributed teams.
