Required technical and professional expertise
- 10+ years of industry experience
- 3-5 years of experience as a genAI software engineer in a distributed or mainframe environment
- 3-5 years of experience managing, guiding, and mentoring a team of engineers
- 3-5 years proven experience in IBMs product development organization as lead development engineer
- Proficiency in Python, Java, git and github
- Proficiency and proven (code) experience with LLMs from IBM (Granite) and at least one other vendor (Facebook, OpenAI, Anthropic)
- Experience building genAI software
- Experience building agenticAI software with Lang graph, crew.ai or ibm bee, langfuse, MCP
- Experience with watsonx.orchestrate
- Experience with devops and ci/ci practices
- Demonstrated track record of success as a development Lead Engineer
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
- Ability to partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams for shared success
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
