DevOps Strategy & Architecture:
Work closely with the Cloud Architect to translate architectural vision into concrete DevOps strategies and implementations.
Design and implement enterprise-grade IaC solutions using tools like Terraform, or OpenTofu, for multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
Architect robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines for microservices and complex applications, incorporating advanced deployment strategies (e.g., blue/green, canary).
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance our DevOps capabilities.
Release Management Leadership:
Lead and manage complex release cycles, ensuring smooth and efficient deployments across multiple environments.
Establish and enforce release governance, best practices, and post-release validation procedures.
Automate release orchestration and provide visibility into release progress and status.
Infrastructure & Platform Leadership:
Provide technical leadership in the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred) and platform services.
Oversee the creation and management of environments (dev, test, staging, production), ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
Guide the implementation of advanced monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for comprehensive system insights.
Security & Compliance:
Champion and enforce cloud security best practices, including advanced IAM, secrets management, and network security design.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements across all infrastructure and deployment processes.
Drive the adoption of Zero Trust principles and secure API practices.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Mentor and guide less experienced DevOps engineers, fostering their technical growth and professional development.
Lead by example, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Participate in talent acquisition, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer:
Establish standards for comprehensive documentation of infrastructure, architectural decisions, deployment processes, and operational runbooks.
Ensure effective knowledge transfer to internal teams and clients for long-term system ownership.
Collaboration:
Work closely with developers to align infrastructure and pipeline support with their needs.
Collaborate extensively with Cloud Architect, Development Leads, and Security teams to align platform strategies with overall product and security roadmaps and validate technical designs.
Act as a key liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders for technical matters along with Cloud Architect.
 Agile Integration:
Work closely with Scrum teams to embed DevOps best practices in daily Agile development.
Enable continuous delivery and integration pipelines that support bi-weekly or frequent Agile releases.
Guide teams on DevSecOps practices to embed security early in Agile sprints (shift-left).
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and QA in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
