Linux Infrastructure Engineer (8+)
Your expertise
• University degree with 8+ years' experience in supporting UNIX based distributed computing environment with a large number of systems (2000+), a solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating system, preferable Solaris 10/11 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8 , Knowledge of Veritas Cluster Volume Manager /concepts and operations , Knowledge of Veritas Cluster server.
• Strong understanding and management of base operating systems, ensuring robust and efficient system design. Solid understanding of Unix-based operating systems, including Redhat Linux and Solaris.
• Familiarity with infrastructure management technologies, including automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, RHN, Satellite, YAML, JSON, Conman, yum RHNcli, and Jumpstart.
• Proficiency in using configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Tanium.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like AKS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, Perl, Bash, or PowerShell. ‘
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Continuous improvement of processes and tools through regular feedback and iteration.
