We are looking for a DevOps/Cloud Engineer support the AM Technology Managing Clients Stream to:

• evangelize, design, and deliver Azure Cloud solutions aligned to business and IT requirements
• proactive, comfortable working in dynamic environments with fast-paced deliveries and changing requirements
• able to work on and improve and cloud infrastructure, as well as to apply modern best practices to new projects either on cloud
• can do successful delivery of infrastructure/automation, using industry best practices, patterns, and principles
• promote the adoption of modern DevOps principles and practices
• help design and deliver common CI/CD pipelines and test harnesses for the entire application estate

Your team

You will be working in the Asset Management Technology team based in one of our offices worldwide. Our team makes sure that we deliver robust, secure, modern, flexible business applications for UBS Asset Management by adopting, evangelizing, teaching, and implementing cloud, Agile and DevOps concepts across the division. We care deeply about continuous improvement of the development process through automation. We use Scrum and apply Agile practices. There is also considerable formal and informal opportunity to learn financially how a bank works.

You will play a key role in making sure we achieve these business and technology objectives.

Your expertise

• excellent core OS level skills (e.g., UNIX/LINUX/Windows) with industry standard scripting skills, like shell scripting, PowerShell scripting
• excellent knowledge on DevOps tools, preferably Gitlab – and practical experience with all phases of modern DevOps pipelines and proficient with CI/CD Pipeline, with 2+ years of experience
• azure cloud Infrastructure, including Kubernetes and Docker Containerization, network protocols & security, with 2+ years’ experience
• hands-on experience on Middleware technologies, deployment automation along with extensive exposure on DevOps concepts & its implementation, and understanding of IT production support of application deployment tools
• experience with Cloud deployment technologies and monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Grafana and Prometheus, and Manage build infrastructure, application configuration, secrets, code quality and security policies
• implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), compliance and security
• ability to assess the requirement, environment and suggest right tools / technologies
