Responsibilities

• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) and optimize resource utilization on cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, SNS, SQS, RDS
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub) to automate software builds, tests, and deployments
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of applications into the production environment
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Cloudformation and Terraform
• Implement security best practices in the development and deployment processes
• Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in DevOps
• Work with a fantastic group of people in a supportive environment where training, learning and growth are embraced
•  Enhance application security measures and implement best practices to safeguard sensitive data
• Take ownership of infrastructure projects, from concept to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and objectives from platform engineering perspective
• Support and enhance existing platform, ensuring it meets ongoing business requirements

What We’re Looking For:  

• 5 to 9 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles
• Excellent hands-on proficiency on AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, SNS, SQS, RDS) and Infrastructure templating using Terraform
• Experience with maintaining database servers – SQL-Server & Postgres
• Experience working with Windows as well as Linux OS and in containerization strategies
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, PRTG, Cloudwatch)
• Hand-on familiarity with test-driven CI/CD frameworks 
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
