What you’ll be doing...
You will contribute to creating, operating and supporting Cloud and DevOps Platform based Products/Services for mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a junior team member on various products.
Utilizing knowledge to provision, deploy and configure GCP services as per solution architecture using CI/CD or GitOps automation.
Managing, troubleshooting and automating fixes for GCP apps and working on the activities to support it.
Good understanding on GenAI usecases, prompt engineering.
Expertise in Agentic workflows, langchain implementation
Defining and building CI/CD pipeline for application.
Expertise in Python and its usage in cloud automation efforts

You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
One or more years of relevant work experience in Linux platform.
Experience in Python , Ansible & AWS Cloud.
Knowledge of Agile & Scrum.
Experience managing Web Servers and App Servers running on Linux with administration experience.
Experience developing code in at least one high-level programming language.
Experience working on IT DevOps tooling and CI/CD practices.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience with a high-performance, high-availability environment development.
Experience managing DevOps products like, Gitlab, Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Technology & Cloud certification.
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate certification.
Knowledge of AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate and Lambda services.
One year or more years of experience as a systems administrator in a systems operation’s role.
Understanding of provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments.
Experience with the AWS CLI and SDKs/API tools.
Understanding of network technologies and concepts as they relate to AWS.
Understanding of security concepts with hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements.
