Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will be contributing significantly to successful project results in technology and/or product development by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. You will also be designing and implementing secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments.

This role is contributing to the Energy Industries in Process Automation Business based out in Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Providing broad technical software support, developing and maintaining documentation for DevOps processes and systems.

• Managing and maintaining CI/CD tools to accelerate software development and deployment with local and remote teams and to work directly on development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinating with resources, projects and customers.

• Designing and implementing secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments along with identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure issues in development, test, and production environments

• Collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow, conducting system tests for security, performance, and availability, building Machine handling for multiple projects and overseeing periodic system audits and preparedness for recovery actions

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science, information technology or related field.

• 6-9 years of experience in DevOps engineering, team management, and collaboration

• Very good Installer knowledge (InstallShield) and proficient in DevOps - Azure DevOps, CI/CD.

• Cloud Knowledge proficiency for Azure Cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance - Vnets, Azure VMs, Docker registry (ACR), Kubernetes (AKS), Azure SQL, Key vault.

• Excellent communication in English
