We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS networking and DevOps practices to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, with a focus on networking solutions and DevOps best practices. Your role will involve:
- Architecting and implementing complex networking solutions in AWS, including VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.
- Designing and managing secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures.
- Implementing and maintaining NAT gateways, routing tables, and network ACLs.
- Configuring and troubleshooting AWS networking services such as Route 53, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
- Automating infrastructure deployment and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Managing and optimizing AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
- Implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other tools.
- Collaborating with security teams to implement and maintain network and application security best practices.
- Mentoring junior team members and sharing knowledge on AWS and DevOps best practices.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
- Four or more years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in AWS networking services, including VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and best practices.
- Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices, like CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline) Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) etc.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong knowledge of additional AWS services, including but not limited to:
- Compute: EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda
- Storage: S3, EBS, EFS
- Databases: RDS, DynamoDB
- Security: IAM, Security Groups, WAF
- Monitoring: CloudWatch, CloudTrail
