Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge and work experience of React/Angular .
  • Good knowledge and work experience in Core javascript , ES 6 , CSS modules, Typescript.
  • Working knowledge of UI components, Frontend apps .
  • Running and monitoring Jenkin Jobs to ensure smooth and reliable deployments
  • Ensuring Stability and efficiency of the various environments
  • Managing release processes and governance for ensuring smooth deliveries
  • Hands-on experience working with Java 8 & Above
  • Good experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot
  • Experience in integrating frontend applications with backend services via REST APIs.
  • Build and Deployment and testing Processes (e.g. Apache Maven/Gradle/Karate)
  • Experience with Code Quality Tools (SonarQube, VeraCode)
  • UX design & prototyping, unit testing practices.
  • Knowledge of micro service architecture, cloud infrastructure principles. 

 

Desirable skillsets:

  • Working experience in Agile Methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD - Jenkins, GitLab CI
  • Knowledge of OpenShift
  • Structured approach to problem solving and ability to manage parallel streams of work.
  • Experience in financial services is preferred but not essential

This role will be based out of Pune.

 

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

 

Accountabilities

  • Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
  • Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
  • Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
