Core Responsibilities

  • Good knowledge of switching technologies
  • Expertise in wireless platforms, specifically Ruckus and Cisco Meraki

  • Basic familiarity with routing concepts

  • Expertise knowledge in Tshoot wireless and switching issues

  • Strong knowledge in scripting languages Python & Terraform

  • Good knowledge in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

  • Solid technical understanding of firewalls, particularly Juniper SRX

  • Technical understanding of firewalls, particularly Juniper SRX

  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel

  • Familiarity with scripting language Ansible 
  • Identify new opportunities & run POC/implementation with the rest of the team as part of a technology refresh.

  • Installation, troubleshooting & management of Network Infrastructure

  • Implement routine changes such as OS upgrades, Routing, ACL/Firewall rule updates, and project-related changes such as installation & configuration of new devices, S2S VPN etc.

  • Effectively collaborate with Vendors & other cross-functional teams to drive incidents & Changes while following ITSM best practices & SLAs.

  • Identify Automation opportunities and automate regular network functions via code.

  • Develop and implement automation scripts and tools for network configuration and management.

  • Work with network monitoring tools to automate alerts and reporting.

  • Create and maintain documentation for automated workflows and network configurations.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations during maintenance activities and solve complex technical issues under time constraints.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in network automation and DevOps methodologies.
