Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans for open-source projects.
Perform testing on Ubuntu distribution, including Debian package installation and Ubuntu Core.
Write and maintain shell scripts and Python scripts for automation and testing purposes.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Ubuntu internals and server environments.
Utilize Ubuntu Launchpad for bug tracking, code hosting, and project management.
Prepare comprehensive test strategies and documentation.
Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless integration and testing processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications:

Strong experience in open-source testing and quality assurance.
In-depth knowledge of Ubuntu distribution, Debian package installation, and Ubuntu Core.
Proficiency in shell scripting and Python scripting.
Solid understanding of Ubuntu internals and server environments.
Experience with Ubuntu Launchpad and its various functionalities.
