Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

Should be an Expert in Unix/Linux servers OS administration
Hands-on Experience working on multiple Linux distros like red hat Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu preferred
Should possess excellent troubleshooting skills to support Major Incidents
Should possess good knowledge on Linux Package management, Maintaining minimum security baseline OS images, OS hardening.
Expertise managing Physical Linux servers, Ilo and building new Physical servers
Proficiency in Scripting- preferably shell or python and should have past experience automating recurring tasks
Expert in Ansible, good hands-on knowledge for creating playbooks

Years of Experience:

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working in a large matrixed organization supporting Unix/Linux Servers

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

5 years of experience in an IT support environment with technical experience in distributed technologies and systems development
2 years of infrastructure engineering experience working across multiple domains, platforms, or specialty areas
2 years of experience leading projects with or without direct reports
