What you'll be doing...
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. In this role, you will:
- Assist in implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, focusing on services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Help implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Participate in the configuration and management of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining monitoring and logging solutions using tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, or Prometheus.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment processes and system reliability.
- Contribute to the implementation of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues.
- Continuously learn and stay updated with the latest DevOps tools and cloud technologies.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree with two or more years of work experience.
- Experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related roles.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Go (Golang). Experience with other languages such as Python or Java is also valuable.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Docker.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
