In this role, you will:
•    Collaborate with central teams (architecture, security, engineering, networks) who are responsible for delivering HSBC baseline cloud architecture. The candidate should ensure all DDS requirements are considered. 
•    Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
•    Implement DevOps / Automation on GCP according to system requirement.
•    Resolve all the technical and process blockers for cloud migration/adoption
•    Ensuring right amount of various testing (functional, performance, security etc) is performed.
•    Be responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
•    Implement architecture of applications on Google Cloud Platform services.
•    Contribute to the architecture design and the implementation of cloud integration, migration, creating working patterns of cloud native technologies.
•    Create high performance decisioning data store for aggregations, custom views and orchestration of data on cloud using spark, pyspark & apache beam
•    Train, mentor and supervise junior software engineers.
•    Organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.). 

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    10+ years of relevant work experience in Cloud Technology
•    Individual should have worked across a wide breadth of latest and greatest Distributed & cloud technologies with good hands-on knowledge in DevOps tools
•    Should have knowledge of Public Cloud (GCP Services) mainly Bigquery ,BigTable, dataproc, dataflow, Terraform)
•    Should have good knowledge and experience towards Containerisation (Kubernetes (including GKE), Docker)
•    Good hands-on experience on Core Programming languages like (Java, Python, Groovy etc)
•    Should be familiarization of Vendor Apps (Jira, Jenkins, Github, Nexus etc)
•    Also, must have good knowledge in Distributed tech stack – Linux/Unix, Window, WAS, SQL/Oracle
•    Should have proficiency in written and spoken English
