What You Need for this Position

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Management or another related field. 
• 6+ years’ technical and critical thinking skills.
• 2+ years’ experience of microservices oriented architecture, Web services standards and best practices.
• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on infra-automation, security in hybrid architecture environments. Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure with focus on Azure
• Expertise and Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform. Write IaC for deployment of resources (compute, storage, networking etc) to Azure cloud.
• Experience in container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes/AKS) -  Cluster setup and management, Setting up Security Policy, Network Policy, Ingress, configuring key vault for managing security, managed identity/work load identity  for secure access to azure services, and  set up infra-monitoring,
• Configuring role-based access control (RBAC), Debugging skills.
• Experience in Istio to manage inter-service communication, traffic routing, and load balancing within the Kubernetes environment.
• Integrated Kubernetes with monitoring tools for infra, APM and real-time tracking of system. Application health and performance metrics.
• Experience in deploying microservices in Kubernetes.
• Experience in Azure ADO for implementing pipelines for automating infrastructure provisioning
• Strong understanding of networking and security principles. In-depth knowledge of security principles, secure coding practices, and compliance standards. Implement security controls and best practices to safeguard banking user journeys. Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, IAST), vulnerability management and OWASP.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
