• Working experience as a Database Administrator
• Hands-on experience on following SQL Versions.
• SQL Server 2008, R2,2012,2014,2016, 2017, 2019 & 2022.
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications.
• Knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL
• Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools
• Familiarity with programming languages API for SQL integration
• Ability to setup SQL Server, SQL Migration, Setup the application DB, cluster, availability zone along with their internal configuration
• Problem solving skills and logical thinking
• Job setup skills to create the job, schedule, modify according to the requirements.
• Understanding about Windows, Azure, VMware, Linux Operating Systems along with Active Directory.
• Exposure on SQL DB replication, Mirroring & amp; Link Server implementation
• Middle level of knowledge about scripting to write and modify the query once needed.
• Collaborative troubleshooting with application teams and providing recommendations for optimal Queries on SQL
• Creating IIS websites and their SQL databases
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Designs less complex managed service solutions to meet client requirements by integrating technology and service design across the Cloud domain.
- Conducts sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products.
- Supports the design of the Managed Service offering, interfacing with the platform delivery team.
- Tests and validates new designs features and delivery models or provide suggestions on improving existing service offers that is being taken to market
- Supports the service design deliverables of the solution, working with internal teams and partners to ensure supportability.
- Implements the validation processes by obtaining sign-off from technical, service, and costing stakeholders.
- Maps the client's requirements against the proposed set of service elements and architectures and coordinates the end-to-end solution development (Cloud Services, Technology Architectures, SIAM, SLA, ITSM leading practices).
- Implements a consulting approach that results in a consolidated statement of requirements, scope, transition documents, and costing based need for change, the role of IT, definition of the AS-IS versus desired state (Future Mode of operation defined), gap analysis, and roadmap, highlighted impacts, consequences, and benefits of the intended transformation (people, process, technology).
- Supports the sales teams in presenting an architecture solution to clients with a focus on cost savings or uncovering other client growth opportunities using the ability to discover and analyze the client’s current architecture, platforms, and operating models.
- Shares client outcomes and market conditions with other stakeholders so that the global offering leads, and Managed Services community can evolve strategies and develop innovative solutions for the future
- Supports the sales teams to have a commercial model discussion with the client
- Identifies all service costs and populates cost models accurately to ensure full visibility of costs related to the delivery of the service over the contract term
- Assists with vendor management depending on the service offers and ensures that the transition to service delivery teams are well coordinated to ensure a smooth transition
- Performs any other related task as required.
