As a Cloud Engineer III (Azure Local), you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure as well as hybrid infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and implementing best practices. We will count on you to have experience on IaaC tools like Terraform or PowerShell Scripting. Along the way, you will get to:
Planning and Deployment - Lead the planning and deployment of Azure Local solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Design and Sizing - Support the validation and sizing of new Azure Local deployments based on existing workload profiles and the organizations needs.
Workload Migration - Manage and execute workload migrations to Azure Local, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Testing and Validation - Carry out testing and validation of new Azure Local environments, migrated workloads and related services including support and knowledge transfer of the environments into BAU support.
Network ATC - Implement and manage Network ATC (Automatic Traffic Control) to optimize network performance and reliability.
Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) - Configure and manage S2D for high-performance, scalable storage solutions.
System Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting - Monitor the performance of the Azure Local infrastructure and perform troubleshooting and resolution for any system issues. Document system configurations, procedures, and changes. Maintain records of system performance, issues, and resolutions.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Develop and maintain IaC scripts for automated deployment and configuration management.
Azure Networking – Hybrid - Design and implement hybrid networking solutions, ensuring secure and efficient connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.

What we’re looking for
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Certifications: AZ-800 (Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure) or AZ-801 (Configuring Windows Server Hybrid Advanced Services) certifications are highly desirable. AZ 700/ AZ 305 is recommended. VMware/Nutanix/Ansible or any other certifications is a plus.
Experience: At least 3 - 6 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering, with a focus on Azure Local or similar technologies.
Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of Azure Local, hyper-converged infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking. Familiarity with Windows Server, Azure services, and related Microsoft technologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Storage Spaces Direct.
Experience with HCI architecture and design tools and technologies.
Experience with Azure Local troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
