Release Management:

• Design comprehensive test plans for software and hardware products.
• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects in functionality, usability, and performance.
• Document and report defects, tracking their resolution.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with company guidelines and industry standards.
• Perform API testing using tools like SOAP UI and Postman to ensure the functionality and reliability of web services.
• Write and execute SQL queries for testing, reporting, and troubleshooting purposes.
• Optimize database queries and performance as needed.
• Coordinate and manage software releases, ensuring smooth transitions between development, testing, and production environments.
• Leverage Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) management.
• Use Jira to track issues, manage release cycles, and coordinate tasks across teams.
• Real-Time Monitoring & On-Call Responsibilities

Expectations:

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency with testing tools (Selenium, Testim, TestRail), Jenkins for CI/CD, Jira for issue and project tracking, and API testing tools (SOAP UI, Postman). Strong knowledge of Linux administration (L2 level) and monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic).
• Root Cause Analysis: Ability to perform detailed root cause analysis during and after outages and implement corrective actions.
