This role is contributing to the IS Services in India. You will be mainly accountable for: • Is accountable and plays support technical role for all the areas associated with Hosting Wintel Services. • Is dedicated IS Hosting Tower technical representative to provide advisory and support for Hosting Wintel Service. • Reviews SLAs and service metrics to monitor quality of Hosting Wintel Services and initiates improvement actions to reach service level targets. • Ensures Hosting Wintel Services are compliant with IS policies, compliance, architecture standards and any other applicable ABB Group Directives and ABB Group Guidelines. • Supports Service Manager to manage assigned budget, if any. • Effectively delivers activities within agreed schedules and costs. • Maintains constant dialogue with other service managers and IS domains functions to ensure alignment and integration with global IS domain strategy.

Qualifications for the role

• Above 5 year of data center windows and VMware platform management experience within the relevant IS domain.
• Experience to translate business requirements into technical.
• Excellent knowledge of windows and VMware in enterprise environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience of implementing and administering windows server and VMware platform, knowledge on SCCM, monitoring or any hypervisor automation tool management.
• Practical experience in administering DNS, network.
• Experience in implementing/administering Data Centre virtualization solutions would be an asset.
